Today is the last day of Dashboard week. The last 4 days have been maniac. Today we were given the brief at 10.30 am and was asked to present it at 3 pm and the most important point was we were not allowed to use Alteryx for data prep. The data we were given is Air Pollutant Data from https://aqicn.org/data-platform/covid19 specially for Covid.
The data had Air pollutant information for years from 2015 to 2020. But some years had only partial data. Therefore, I went ahead with 2019 and 2020 because those 2 were the years which had full year information.
Data Prep
There was not much to prep for this data, I had to use Tableau Prep since we were not able to use Alteryx. All what I had to was to remove nulls and union all the years.
Data Visualization
Today I decided to focus on Pollution in Australia. I was interested in finding the air pollution pattern pre and during Covid in Australia. I also wanted to check the hazard level and whether there is any relationship with temperature.
I would have like to enrich this data with bush fire and covid hot spot data to find meaningful insights, but due to time constraints I was not able to achieve this.
Overall this week has been a very intense but a great week of challenges!
