The Australian Football League is the pre-eminent and only fully professional competition of Australian rules football. Through the AFL Commission, the AFL also serves as the sport’s governing body and is responsible for controlling the laws of the game.

Now I am going to give you some insights related to the players performance that use to play in the forward position.

My question was trying to understand why some players performance better than others? In this case I did a choose to just look at the players that have been playing in the forward position.

As you can see in the chart below I have picked the Top 10 players in my dataset.

To try answer my question I have done the scatter plot chart to see que correlation between time played by players and the number of goals that each player got.  Unfortunately  I did not got a strong correlation between these variables and then  I can not affirm it right now because I do not have the time of training to each players.

Also I could see how much goals those players have done  to their teams. As you can see in this example below I  have picked Franklin (one of the good Players) and he have done many goals to the teams.

I could not find any pattern to affirm that practice is the key to get better performance as a player in full forward position based in the data that I have got but we can get further to look after it with more data.

I hope you have enjoyed these insights about AFL.
