In our first week at the Data School, we’ve been introduced to Altryx – software designed to make advanced analytics accessible to any data worker. It’s a very powerful instrument that allows users to quickly access, manipulate, analyze, and output data. I want to give you some tips on how to find the resources to learn the program if you start from scratch.

Altryx community page is full of useful information

Learn – Alteryx Community

Here you can go to the Altryx Academy page and watch short video lessons on each topic with the quiz at the end of each lesson. I have found those very useful for my exam preparation. There is also a free Altryx education program, providing software licenses and videos on various topics.

Altryx challenges page Weekly Challenge Index & Welcome – Alteryx Community is a great way to test your knowledge with plenty of tasks and solutions.

You can go for Free exam preparation and check if you are ready for the exam and have a feel of what the exam looks like. I also found 2 hours free exam, which you can take every seven days, to be very useful as well in my learning because you get a report at the end of the exam on which areas you need to improve.

In Altryx itself there is plenty of information on how to use each function from the toolbar. All you need to do is to select the tool you want to learn and click on the example link which will take you through the cases on how this tool can be used. If you type the tool’s name in the search field on the right top corner, it will give you the list of various recourses you can find helpful.

Tool Mastery Index – Alteryx Community  is a great page for learning Tools as well.

Also, look at the Data School Blog page where people are sharing useful tips and tricks on how to use the software. But I guess you know that already!
