What’s the Data School Down Under About?

Over the last 3 decades, the team at MIP Australia have worked with leading organisations to provide data and analytics consulting services. We have also trained thousands of people to use TableauAlteryx, and Power BI.

Over this time, we have seen data visualisation software growing incredibly fast, the largest organisations in Australia have been adopting these technologies for increasingly ambitious projects – ambitious in both scale and complexity. As a partners in these key software, a key role is to help ensure this momentum continues.

That’s why in 2018 we launched The Data School Down Under. We are partnered with and work closely with The Data School in London, New York, and Hamburg where for the past 8 years recruits have been trained to become the next generation of great data analysts and consultants, gaining real-life experience in many different organisations. Our partners include some of the largest names spread over various industries like education, finance, healthcare, telecommunications, transport, and retail.

The Data School Australia is always taking applications from anyone looking to embark on a career in data. We have three new cohorts per location every 4 months.

In Sydney, the starting dates are around  April, July and November.
In Melbourne, the starting dates are around February, June and September.
In Brisbane, the starting dates are around January, May and August.

We provide four months of focused training from some of the best trainers in the world, to give consultants a deep understanding of how to store, manage, prepare and visualise data.

Once trained, graduates of the Data School are available for industry placements at clients using Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, and SQL.

We are looking for prospective candidates who have a passion for data and a desire to learn. You don’t need to have a particular degree or background, if data is your passion we would love to hear from you!
