Stuart Kean

Stuart has a Degree in Politics and a Masters in Economics and International Development from UCL in the UK. Prior to the Data School, he worked in a number of roles including the British Army and the Fire Service, where he gained valuable experience in leadership and teamwork. He has extensive experience as a teacher where he developed his communication, presentation, and instructional abilities. He spent three years working as an education project manager in International Development, where he managed multiple teams remotely and in person, engaged stakeholders and delivered large-scale residential training and research activities. In these roles, he began to harness data to make data-driven decisions to improve performance.

Stuart has lived and worked in 8 different countries along the way demonstrating his resilience, adaptability, and ability to forge relationships with people from diverse backgrounds. His most recent posting was in Moscow, Russia. Upon moving to Australia in 2022 he decided to make the leap and pursue a career in data. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, the outdoors and is an avid Leeds United supporter.
