Radial bar chart could be quite useful and impressive when you want to present the change in time series data. This blog will show how to make Radial bar chart from scratch. The dataset used in this blog is Sample Superstore dataset which is embedded in Tableau Desktop.
Step1
Union the same dataset and create the Path order field based on the table name
Step2
Create two parameters inner and outer
Step3
Create 5 calculated fields which are shown as below
Step4
Dray x, y to the column and row shelf and change the axis range to -1 to 1
Step5
Put the date to detail and change to continuous
