A button that provides quick access to guidance and explanations about the data or metrics being displayed can be especially useful when you want to offer more detailed information to audiences. Iām going to show how to create an information button that contains sales information in this article, and which can be hidden by clicking on a back button.
1. Insert a text box into the dashboard containing all the necessary information.
2. Insert an information button and a back button.

3. Go to the View tab, click on the icons to expand the Bookmarks and Selection sections. Then, add two bookmarks named “Show Info” and “Hide Info.” Their names reflect their functionality. “Show Info” should display the interface after clicking on the information button, which will include the information text box and back button. Conversely, “Hide Info” should show only the information button in the interface.

4. Hide the Information Button, select the two buttons and the information box, then right-click on the “Show Info” bookmark and choose “Selected visuals.” Click “Update” to save the changes.

5. Hide the Back Button and the information box, select the two buttons and the information box, then right-click on the “Hide Info” bookmark, choose “Selected visuals,” and click “Update” to save the changes.

6. Turn on actions for the buttons. Set their type to “Bookmark,” and choose the “Show Info” bookmark for the information button and the “Hide Info” bookmark for the back button.
