Todays challenge what about Census data from ABS. The topic selected what Data Mapping of Languages across Australia. And I decide to build a dashboard that will allow you to get a quick overview of the most common languages spoken in Australia. Moreover, you could select from greet capital cities, regions, or suburbs to filter the results.
Why is important a corporate language strategy?
It is crucial for government to understand the spread of languages across regions in regional Victoria and the level of English proficiency among particular language groups to inform communication and
engagement strategies that are targeted to areas of greatest need.
The census data
When it comes to get data from Census, its always a challenging task. The header are encode and record are not in row level. So first its important to prepare the data in Alteryx. Here it ts. I spend most of my time finding pattern to clean the data on a smart way.
Finally, after lots of effort my data is ready to use in Tableau.
